TideRoll: Block Puzzle

TideRoll: Block Puzzle turns a wooden block's changing position into the central puzzle. The destination is a hole in a platform above the sea, and the block must enter it vertically. Every roll changes the space it occupies, so a clear path is useful only if it also leaves you correctly lined up at the finish.

Choose a safe approach

Study the platform before moving. At a narrow section, picture the block after the next roll and make sure its landing stays on the board. Reaching the goal from an awkward direction can leave you with another puzzle to solve, even when the hole is only a short distance away.

Handle the special tiles

Orange tiles are fragile: travel over them with the block horizontal, because standing vertically on them breaks them. The boards also include switches and bridges. Consider those features when choosing a crossing, and use undo to reconsider a move that takes you away from your intended approach.

Controls and levels

Move with WASD or the arrow keys on desktop. Touch players can use the displayed directional buttons. There are 150 levels, presented with sunshine, rain and snow. Treat each new layout as a separate route problem instead of assuming the previous sequence will work again.
