Learn the jump before chasing a long run

Make the first attempt an observation exercise. Click when you can see a clear reason to jump, then follow the character through the whole movement. Notice where the jump begins and where it leaves you relative to the next hazard. A successful landing is more useful when you understand which visual cue prompted it.

Avoid treating every obstacle as a signal for the same hurried click. The distance to the hazard matters. Acting too early and acting too late can both end an otherwise promising run, but they call for different adjustments. On the next attempt, change the moment of the input deliberately instead of merely clicking more often.

Look beyond the immediate trap

Keep enough attention ahead to recognize what follows a jump. A move that clears one danger can leave little room to react if you only notice the next obstacle on landing. You do not need to memorize an entire route; try to understand the next transition as well as the hazard directly in front of you.

When a run ends, identify the last decision you could explain clearly. Did you overlook the trap, misjudge its distance or lose track of the character after jumping? Practise that specific point. Repeating the parts you already understand gives you a steadier approach to the section that still needs work.
