Read the layout before setting power

Use the mouse or touch input shown by the game. Start with the objective for the current level, then identify a target and the pocket or route that can serve it. Check for an intervening ball or obstacle before committing to the stroke. The most visible ball may not have the clearest useful path.

A three-dimensional view can make a route look different from the top-down tables you know. Take a moment to understand the relationship between the cue ball, the target and the pocket. Use a straightforward shot to learn how your input affects the result before trying a difficult angle.

Adjust one part of the shot

After striking, watch the target ball and the cue ball until their movement finishes. If the target misses to one side, reconsider the contact angle. If it follows the intended line but lacks the reach, reconsider the strength. Treating those outcomes separately makes your next adjustment easier to evaluate.

Also look at what the shot leaves behind. A ball potted successfully can still create an awkward follow-up if the cue ball finishes behind an obstruction. When two shots appear possible, compare the next position each might produce. A small amount of forward planning is useful even before you become comfortable with more advanced routes.

Let the level define the problem

Do not assume that an earlier solution works unchanged in a new layout. Locate the current obstacles and read any updated instruction. Choose a skill setting that lets you understand the result of a stroke, then increase the challenge when your decisions become repeatable. A difficult level is easier to learn when each attempt tests one clear idea.
